  1. When you talked about throwing a new mechanic at the end of the game, I thought about the ending for the original Quake game. You spend the entire game shooting stuff and suddenly you are facing an opponent who can only be killed though a Deathmatch mechanic. I think I stumbled on the solution by accident but I never figured out what I did until I ran into the description of the fight in a book. Anyone who was deeply familiar with Deathmatch may have had an easier time but those used to mainly solo/coop play would have easily been stumped.
